66i refuses to charge

Hi everyone,

My 3 mth old 66i, will not charge at all. Tried multiple cables, chargers, power banks. Nada. All I get if I hold the power button on, and on initially connecting is the image below.

I suppose this means it has to go back under warranty as useless?

Open up a support case with Garmin, I don't think anyone here can help you with this if you tried multiple cables and charges.

If the device is indeed 3 months old it's still under warranty there should be no issue in having Garmin replace the device.

If nothing else works, you can try a full factory reset. Chances are that support will suggest this as a first step.

If you can still reach the menus, Setup > Reset > Delete All.

Both approaches do the same thing. All user data will be lost. You will need to repeat the outdoor portion of iR activation.

Garmin have agreed it's busted. Getting a refund from the shop.
