What's this all about, strange popup

Hi again

Boy, learning this 66i is a battle. So many menus, so many different pages to get to different pages, well I guess it's a learning curve.

Can anyone tell me what this is, I can't find any explanations anywhere in the manual or online.

Every few minutes I get a popup (,see photo 1) any key I touch immediately brings you a black page with the word 'Explore' if I touch any key it disappears and then the pop up appears a few minutes later.

What is it,?

Never have seen this on my 66i. Never ever. Is your 66i paired with your phone/the mobile Explore app and there is perhaps a problem with this connection?

Yes it's paired with the phone which does have explore app on it. I shall kill the Bluetooth and see what happens. It's weird and annoying. I shall update soon. Thanks for the tree Volker

I think U got it Volker, turned Bluetooth off and it seems to have cured it. Turned it back on, and so far no pop up. Weird.

When getting that message were you also getting an inReach message or having something going on with the explore app or inReach portion? You can turn off notifications on the device Smart Notifications on a Garmin Outdoor Handheld // Hiding Bluetooth Notifications.

Thanks for that, after checking just about every notification type and permission was allowed. Not now thanks to you.
