Re-activated my inReach subscription and powered on my 66i last night to test in advance of a trip I'm taking in a week. Things went fine, and I plugged in overnight to pick up an update.
This morning the device displayed an error about a device fault. After acknowledging that it jumped to a software update. That seemed to go alright, and it booted up and I checked my routes on the BirdsEye app. I set it down to do some work... and the unit turned off, and I haven't been able to reset.
I contacted support and the only solution was to exchange for a refurbished unit at half the price I paid for the original. I'm frustrated because the unit is under a year and half old and hasn't been used heavily.
But, more than that: has anyone else experienced behaviour like this?
