My GPSMAP 64s will stall during startup at 'Loading Profiles'. This behaviour started when the device was connected to a laptop and Basecamp, and the laptop went into standby mode.
No measures so far (e.g. hard reset) have solved this.
The 'profiles.ver' file contains gibberish (
ⴶ㕄㐰ⴱ渀 is literally the full content of the file), would that be important?
How to fix this?
