Resetting Odometer

I would like to reset the Odometer data field in my Trip Computer page. Currently it shows the mileage for several walks (local Activity, not Tracks) since I started using this device. I have tried the two functions (below) from the manual, but Odometer does not clear. I cannot find any other Clear functions, have I missed one somewhere?

Select Setup > Reset.
Select an option:
- To reset data specific to a trip, such as distance and averages, select Reset Trip Data.
- To clear the data recorded since you started your current activity, select Clear Current Activity.

I am coming from the Explorer+, where the Odometer accumulated distance from each Trip Odometer, with the option of, any time, clearing one or both of these. That way I could see cumulative distance from, say, a 3-day trip, but restart each day's own distance.

AFAIK, this is not possible on the 66i. I did not find any way to reset the "total" odometer. It probably goes to zero if you fully reset the device (reset to factory settings). But that's a big hammer. It loses all your settings. And requires you to repeat the outdoor portion of activation.

Solution: There are 3 trip meters - current activity, trip, and odometer. The first two are read/write. In Activities Setup => Advanced => Recorded Data Preset, choose "prompted". Then when I'm done with each segment of my hike, I'll "data reset" Current Activity, but "do not reset" Trip Data. When outing is over I'll note the Trip Data/Odometer stats for totals.
