Profiles changing names and multiplying

I need to use some own created profiles in the 66i.

I do set up all as needed and then create a profle, edit its name and make a bakup of it by connection the 66i to pc and exporting this profile to my bckup server.

So far OK.

When I set up 66i, I copy my needed profile to the profiles folder on the 66i, then I go to profiles and select it and say: use from the menu

And now troubles start. Very soon I have in the list of profiles this one let say 5 times. Often I get profiles with older name, used few months ago. It all behaves without any logic, often the surplus profiles can not be even deleted from the 66i, only when I connect it via usb cable to pc and delete all self made profiles from the profiles folder.

Does someone has the same experience?

This sounds like an issue with sync. Is sync involved?

yes and no

when I make factory reset, obviously I need to make some kind of sync as otherwise the units is not really very useful.

Even before I make any adjustments, I need a simple full set up, which needs to be done with a dedicated profile as it is not possible to set up a group of 66i manually, this would take time for ever.

The behavior did not exist in previous FW as I can remember , it seems to be some property of 9.0

Only thing I can suggest is to open a support ticket. Particularly if you think the behavior has changed with recent F/W updates. I don't see anything obviously connected to this in the release notes. Which handily stop short of 9.0.
