I have a 62s (two actually) and a monterra. Planning a recent trip, both 62s would only get to startup screen - about 5 or 6 seconds into bootup, and one of them would briefly display a message about a gpx file, then the screens fade. I got onto basecamp and although basecamp would not see the devices, (Monterra was fine) after retrying a few times eventually Basecamp connected to the device. I ran updates, and everything seemed fine. Went on the trip. Worked fine for 4 days then the old problem returned. This was in the middle of nowhere, no cell coverage at all.
I returned to civilisation, and have tried to connect with basecamp and tried to do a master reset. Nothing works no matter what sequences I plug things in and turn them on, new batteries etc. The symptom are almost like flat batteries. When I do the master reset, the "erase user data" comes up, I have time to quickly select yes and enter, then it all just fades away.
I've removed the micro card and done everything else I can think of including searching the forums.
