Garmin GPS MAP 66i not booting up

Dear Support,

My Garmin GPSMAP 66i was working fine on my first trip. After the trip, I powered off the device. A few days later I switched it on for a new trip but the device only shows the Garmin logo and then shut down with a flash white screen. The OS is not loading. Can anyone help? Video is also attached to better understand the issue.

The forums are peer to peer - not an official support channel. Garmin employees sometimes read the forums and, infrequently, comment. If you need real assistance with a problem, you must open a support ticket.

It is possible to perform a FULL reset on a device which will not boot. Instructions here:

WARNING: This deletes ALL user data from the device. If the 66i is activated (has an active data plan), you will be forced to perform the outdoor portion of the activation again after the reset.
