Purpose of Wi-Fi on 66i?

I'm just curious about the Wi-Fi capability in the 66i. I don't know of any use for it. What can you use it for?

BirdsEye downloads. In some cases, f/w updates are also delivered OTA. (I am not sure if one of the mobile apps on a paired phone initiates this, but the data is fairly large and is certainly not delivered via BT.) Some geocaching "leve" features require fairly large amounts of data. I think those may travel over WiFi when available.

Had forgotten about the EPO file. That's a very important item since it affects time to first fix.
