I didn't realize how truly stupid I am until I got a 66i and tried to use it. Thank you Garmin for opening my eyes!
What I am trying to do is to plan a hike by uploading a GPX file to the device. What I expect to be able to do is to view the map for the hike with the route overlaid but I am unable to figure this out. I have the GPX file transferred to the device and I can see the waypoints in the waypoints list, but how do I view the map of the route? Looking at the docs it mentions using "FIND" but ironically I can't find FIND. Where is it? UPDATE: it's the Find BUTTON!! Duh! Why don't they say "FIND button"? Frustrating!
Also, the waypoints are just a flat list and don't appear to be organized by route. Is that the case? How is this supposed to be manageable?
Also, I tried to use Garmin Connect to upload the GPX file to the 66i but it says I don't have any compatible devices even though the 66i is listed as a device. Is the 66i really not compatible?
