Sd card cover fell off

I just got a new 66i. When I opened the sd card rubber cover ,a small piece of metal fell off. Now the cover keeps on falling.

Do I need to return the unit or is there a simpler solution.

Looking at the device, I can't actually tell how the cover is attached. It appears that there might be a tiny screw involved. Is the screw what fell off, or do you know? And do you still have whatever it was that fell off?

It’s a small flat piece of metal with a hole in it.
called garmin and they suspect it’s a manufacturing defect.
mill pick up an even exchange at an REI store.
