Syncing routes between strava and Garmin 66i

Same problem here. 

Same Problem here. Set the 66i to save both fit and gpx files. Found out you have to sync to garmin Explore app. Unfortunately no export to Strava found there. 

Bit stupid that everything synchs to Connect (and from there to Strava) but the the 66i. My activities are a mess now. 

I don't know how, but it seems solved. Strava routes have (magically?) appeared on the 66i.

I can also connect het 66i to explore app (android), but doesn't seem to do anything active.

Early adopter and garmin... can be quite a hassle indeed!

I want it to sync the otter way round. From 66i to Connect (and from there to strava). Has not happened yet. I wonder why my sync fails everytime.

Hi, can double-check this: you are saying routes are syncing FROM Strava routes TO the 66i?

Exactly what I'm looking for, but so far failing to see how to achieve. Strava 'routes' syncs to Garmin Connect as a 'course', which then either automatically sync to other Garmin devices (Edge, fenix etc) or can be manually pushed (app or website) - yet when trying to do that for the 66i it lists the 66i connected to my account as "Not Compatible"...?

But I don't know how it happens.

Short story:

I've made a route in strava. And the next day it is in my 66i!

Remarks& random thoughts:

-There is quite some delay, don't know why

-Directly syncing with Garmin connect and Garmin explore app didn't do anything to the 66i at that moment

-maybe it needs the fenix 5 to sync indirectly?

-maybe it needs multiple syncs and reboot?
