Newbie Numpty Question re Maps

I have purchased the GPSMAP 66 SR and starting to plough my way through the manuals and you tube videos. I am based in the UK and have bought the UK pro 1:50 map.

I am stumped on the following issues.

1 - How do I remove the TopoActive America, south 2020.10, TopoActive Europe 2020. North East and South West. Garmin express wants to update these at 3G each

2 - The micro sd card which has the TOPO Great Britain PRO 1:50K is it possible to copy this onto either the device directly or onto a much lager card.

re q1: One option is to install Garmin Basecamp on a PC. Connect your device. Then under MAPS click MANAGE MAP PRODUCTS. from there remove the maps you don't want on your device.

Don't know about the first question. Never tried.

With regard to the second question, I THINK not. I believe that maps purchased on SD card are locked to card they came on. The card can be moved from one device to another, but I do not believe you can copy the contents and expect it to work. This is Garmin's version of copy protection.
