IR app screen disappears when testing and messaging

IR app screen disappears when testing In Reach and when messaging from In Reach. Although the app seems to function the screen reverts to menu screen even though the IR app is still processing instructions and messaging. This is worrying when I’m on the hills and left feeling unsure of test results and messaging, not to mention having trust in SOS function. Sometimes other apps affected in same way. Would like to solve this please!

First off, be sure that the firmware is up to date. I believe the latest version is 7.20.

Next, you might try some of the soft reset options (those that do not lose any of your data). I hesitate to suggest…

Are you talking about being paired with a watch, or something else?

Hi, no this is on the screen of the 66Si itself. While in IR testing or messaging mode the unit’s screen just quickly reverts back to the menu icons. I don’t think the IR function crashes, but you’re left wondering what the score is

First off, be sure that the firmware is up to date. I believe the latest version is 7.20.

Next, you might try some of the soft reset options (those that do not lose any of your data). I hesitate to suggest a full factory reset. That WILL lose all your data and will require you to repeat the outdoor portion of the iR activation. However, the full reset is the last resort.

If none of that works, open a support ticket.

Many thanks. Yes firmware is up to date. I’ll raise a ticket as reboots not resolving issue
