GPSMAP 66i Expedition Mode - Doesn't turn off

When I turn off the device (choose power off), the green indicator light will flash every now and then as if it is in expedition mode. Does anyone know why this is? Is expedition mode still on?

Appreciate any help.

Unfortunately, the next step is a master reset and retest:

GPSMAP 66i Master Reset
1. Ensure the device is powered off.
2. Press and hold both Page and Enter simultaneously.
3. Power on the device while continuing…

Unfortunately, the next step is a master reset and retest:

GPSMAP 66i Master Reset

Ensure the device is powered off.
Press and hold both Page and Enter simultaneously.
Power on the device while continuing to press both buttons.
Release the Power button when Garmin appears on the screen.
Release the other buttons once the Do you really want to erase all user data? message appears
Select Yes.
