Correct.
There is no risk to power off the GPSr unless you push and hold the power button, which you would not do, unless you wanted to turn the power off.

Yes but i think it is much easier by pressing the other buttons on the front. I hope to see that in the next upgrade software.
You will not. Allowing any button to disable the system lock defeats the purpose. Too easy to have any of the externally protruding button accidentally pressed unintentionally.
Logically is correct but if I forget to lock the keys it's the same thing.
From manual: in battery save mode, the screen shuts off when the backlight times out. You can select the power key to turn on the screen.
If all the keys turn on the light why they can't turn on the screen on battery save mode?
This function would be very convenient if you use the 66 in a motorcycle or bicycle handlebar.
...and it would be very inconvenient if you carry the device in a pack or bag or anywhere else the buttons can be pressed unintentionally while hiking or jogging etc. This would keep turning on the screen and running the batteries down.
