Way to Connect 66i to iPhone AND iPad

I want to connect my 66i to my iPhone (during trekking) and to’ my iPad (when I’m home, to create and import routes with Garmin Explore).

The 66i accept only one connection iPhone or iPad.

To sync with an iPad I’ve to delete the iPhone connection, do to synchro wizard with the iPad.

Do someone know a way to connect the 66i with two things (obviously not at the same time) ?

Don't think so. I think it can only pair with one BT device at a time.

My Fenix 5 can connect (not at the same time) with iPad and iPhone . This without deleting and resetting the pairing in Garmin connect.

I disable Bluetooth on the iPhone, I activate the Bluetooth on the iPad and all is done.

with 66i is impossible without deleting in the 66i the iPhone connection. It mean that I’ve to reset every time the synchro parameters...

Is better to use Garmin Explore on the iPad as on the iPhone (screen size).

Yes, just tried to do the same because of the iPad screen size: turned off my iPhone so that my 66i wasn't paired with it, but still the same as the aforementioned; I had to 'Forget iPhone' on my 66i to connected to my iPad, then 'Forget iPad' again to reconnect to my iPhone: not good!
