Usage does not show on my 66i

I've had my 66i a few days now and I've been testing it a fair bit. The Plan Usage screen never shows any usage.

I've used "Update" a few times, but it still says my usage is zero.

The Explore website knows what I've used:

Is there something I'm missing ? How do I get the usage on the device to update ?

This should happen automatically unless you have an expedition plan. Last time I looked, expedition plans never show usage data.

I don't know how frequently this is updated. If it does not "catch up to reality", a call to tech support might be in order.

It has moved on to showing nonsense data. Claims I’ve used 11 tracking points and have -11 left (I’ve used over 40 and never had any included points to start with).

I'm fast discovering that once you get away from Garmin’s core competencies of making GPS receivers that things start to get very flaky...
