In the absence of an 86i forum, and being very closely related, I wondered if someone might know the answer to my question.
The 86i comes with a charging cradle (can be wall mounted). This has a flying lead attached with a 2 pin female threaded connector on it.
Also in the box is a USB to 2-pin male connector. - which of course would supply 5V down the cable.
There's not much in the documentation, but online would seem to indicate the flying lead can be connected direct to "vehicle power", I'm guessing 12V.
Does that mean the charging pads at the bottom of the 86i support both 5v and 12v charging?
