What exactly is a valid body of water?? - inReach Marine Weather

I live about 40 km away from the coast and so no marine weather informations available for my location. I tried it some days ago with choosing a location somewhere in ihe North Sea (Skagerrak) and a marine forecast was delivered.

I really don´t know what went wrong for your location. I wrote this to show, that it is working (for me).

I will try it after work at home with a position in the Hauraki Gulf (device is at home, am in office (here it is 6.30am).

I have tried it some days ago for a location in the North Sea (about 300 km away from my real location) and it worked.

Will try it this afternoon (am in office (time is here 7:23am)) at home with a position in the Hauraki Gulf.

That would be awesome. Thanks!  DarkSky website certainly generates a forecast for this part of the world. 

Called my wife and she brought my 66i to my office (was on her way to work). It is working for me. Thats what I got:

Why did I get marine weather forecast for wednesday?

Supplement:

I guess, because it was around 9pm when I requested the weather report and we have intervalls of 6 hrs for the marine forecast (?), the time for the next interval is choosen (1am)?

I forgot to take a pic from 7pm. So only 6 hrs intervals.

Thank you!  I guess I need to choose further off-shore. It would be great to have a Garmin map with a layers showing where Marine will work. 

On Wednesday, it is Wednesday here or would have been when you pulled the forecast I suspect
