The Oregon 650 allows me to change the color of the track to better distinguish it in the map. Does the 66i have that option and if so, where is it located?
Thanks

AFAIK, you cannot change the color of an activity on the device. You can do so in the Explore app. Select the activity from the Library tab, tap the activity icon in the upper left corner of the activity detail page, select the color. I did not check to see if the change is then sync-d to the device.
IF you convert the activity to a track (which is directly routable on the device), you can change the color of the track. From Saved Tracks, select the track, Enter, Menu, Set Color.
I'll give that a try.
Thank you.
If you go into "recording controls," use the left-right cursor to select the "information" (i) page, then select the "menu" button , then select "Set Color" you will get a menu that allows you to set the track color and other activity trace parameters like "Show On Map," Save record etc.
You can also enter this control set by going into "Recorded Activities" and the select "Current Activity" (or any of the saved activity traces if you want to alter them) and then the "Information (i)" page and the press the "menu" button.
This function is well hidden but it is there. I have a red-green colorblind problem and the aqua trace is impossible for me to see. (especially in bright light). It looks grey-white to me. Hope that helps
This is SO helpful. I would never have found it on my own - thanks!
Super helpful answer, TY
