Garmin 66i Silicone Case?

Hi folks,

Having got my hands on a new Garmin 66i, I'm now looking to protect it from the scratches and bumps that are often a feature of being off-the trail.

What I haven't been able to find yet is a silicone case (or actually any case!) that is made especially for the 66i. Any recommendations or links to items would be appreciated.

The 66i is slightly wider. In particular, the SOS "door" on the right hand side is going to be a problem for a form-fitting case. Even if it would stretch to fit, you don't want to have to remove the case to get to the SOS button.

You can, of course, initiate the SOS function from the screen. But it takes more time, effort and coordination.

Thanks for the replies. I purchased one of the silicone cases made for the 66 series that Aetsch820 recommended. It fits and will do the job keeping bumps and scratches away from the device but as Twolpert says the case does cover the SOS button so in order to activate a SOS from the device I would need to remove the case (hopefully not something I ever plan to need!).

Ill use use this until something specific for the 66i is released.

I see it's been a year - and I see now someone is selling a model specific to the 66i. My problem is that it only comes in black - I don't like buying expensive and important things that can be dropped along a trail and not easily found.
Has anyone by now seen a seller with brighter colours?
I'm looking at the photos of the new model case and that older red case, and wondering how much I could do with an exacto knife...

Aliexpress sells a specific 66i version in both black and red. Look at the thread regarding elevation gain, it contains a picture of what must be the red version. I cut a hole in my generic 66-series cover, which works fine.

Thanks; I found it. It looks perfect.
It's labeled as a cover for a 66i smart watch, even though it's clearly for this. :s Guess that's why it took me a while to find it.
And the black is labelled as beige, and the red is labelled as black. :( So I have no idea what I'll get!
And there's no way to get in touch with their customer service if you don't already have an account with them (there's no way to create a new account). :(
Would anyone happen to know a 3rd party who sells their case, whose ordering website is... usable?
