Z82 stuck in boot up loop

My Z82 worked for a couple weeks then last night was not targeting well.  Everything was >100yards too long or just wrong.  I plugged it into Garmin Connect tonight to see if there were software or updates to help and now it's stuck in a boot up loop.  The Garmin Logo screen to the maps loading screen to the green progress bar, but then back to the Garmin logo screen.  Repeats.  I can't even seem to turn it off.  Seems like the only way I can stop it is by plugging it back into my computer.  From there I have tried diagnostics mode but nothing there was a hard reboot or useful to my problem.

I emailed support.  likely 3 days.  Tried the chat, there was 1 person in the queue but my wait time just kept going up from 2 minutes to 15.
