Dropped Z82

I was playing a round of golf and dropped my Z82.

tried to turn it on and nothing would happen, no damage to lens or screen

got home and when plugged into power source I get 5 seconds of a flashing blue light but buttons do not respond

  • Try charging through a home computer, and ensure you are using the original cable that came provided in-box with the Z82. Once connected, look through the viewfinder to see if anything appears on the screen.

If nothing appears on the viewfinder screen when connected to the home computer, press and hold the button the middle button on top if the Z82 for 15 seconds while looking through the viewfinder > Release the button > Disconnect and reconnect the charging cable to see if you then see the Garmin logo or charging screen appear.

Contact Garmin Support if you continue to have concerns to discuss further solutions

  • Used cable provided in home computer and followed instructions and nothing. Attempted to contact Garmin Support but apparently support office is closed and has been for 2 days. Arranged a callback but the computer won’t recognise my number
