"Cannot unlock maps" appears.

After update V4.40, after power-on and resuming from sleep mode, "Cannot unlock maps" appears.

AND, I found battery drained completely after back home. Does sleep mode consume battery power continuously in V4.40 software?

Does anyone knows of its solution? or how to overwrite the previous system software.

Thank you for your advice.

I have tried on my Mac however, nothing has been changed.

Then, I installed Garmin express on my windows11 PC and deleted folders and files which name starts with comma from GARMIN device.(Z82)

After registration of Z82 on Garmin express to my Garmin account again and SYNC, everything goes smoothly on my Z82.

Battery drain would be caused by the message “cannot unlock maps which require pressing -key.

The message never sleep and Z82 also never sleep.

Now,I am out of trouble and found Z82 is great rangefinder.
