My Garmin Z82 will not give yardages when trying to use the "sight something" feature. I've had this issue for a while but couldn't find a fix and still cannot. The GPS still works, but for a device that is so expensive the rangefinder should work!! When I try to sight something at any distance like 100 yards out, it just climbs 100, 150, 300, 450 and then goes blank and gives no yardage reading. I decided to try and update to the latest software but no luck and I have rest the device multiple times, still nothing.. All this is good for is GPS. Rangefinder distances do not read. WHY??
