Garmin Express App doesn't prompt to update 2.80 firmware

I'm using my son's Intel Macbook (MacOS Big Sur) to update my Approach Z82, but Garmin Express doesn't prompt me to update to v2.80.

I'd like to update my Z82 to v2.80 so that I can use it on my M1 Macbook.

How can I force update?

    Updates are transferred to the device from Express once synced, but may not show as an update on the Garmin Express program window. Golf course map updates will be prompted visibly to install directly on the Express program...but are not the same as the software update.

    Any software updates if needing to be installed, will begin installing or will prompt an install option directly on the display screen of the device once you close out of the Express program and safely eject your device from the computer connection.
