I've noticed that the Z82 seems to have some logic where if it gets significantly different measurements from the laser and GPS it seems to only show the GPS distance. The problem I have with this is that 1. there's no warning displayed that there is some discrepency and 2. sometimes when the GPS signal is poor the GPS distances can be off by anywhere from 10-20 yards. It would be really nice if there could at least be some warning about a measurement discrepancy (or maybe an ability to only display laser distances when I know the GPS signal is spotty). When it happens on a course I know well it's not a big deal as I can tell if the distance is way off, but I've had a few instances recently when playing new courses where I've ended up overshooting approach shots by as much as 20 yards because of a bad yardage from the Z82.
