Sync error Z82

Dear Garmin,

I have tried to sync my Z82 but since the update of Garmin Express to 7.0 (latest) the Z82 cannot sync. It gives "sync error" but no explanation. It does find and identify the Z82 and says "you're up to date". Upon clicking "sync"-button. It gives a growing bar and ends with an error msg headline in red saying "there was an error syncing with Garmin Connect".

Any remedy to this?

  • Please uninstall Garmin Express off your computer and install Garmin Express again. Add your Approach Z82 and sync again. If you continue to have a scorecard sync issue, it could be a corrupt scorecard file on your Approach Z82 but Garmin Express will often let you know if there is a corrupt file that needs to be deleted.
