Is the Z30 Compatible with Venu 3?

Just bought a z30 and was hoping because there was scant information on watch compatibility it would work with Venu 3. Is it supported or not? If it is, I can't figure out in the menus how to configure the devices to be aware of each other. Thanks.

Epix 2 (not pro) is not on the list although it is compatible.

Venu 3 is not a compatible device with the Approach Z30. You can use the compatible GPS distance features and range relay pairing the Z30 to the Garmin Golf app on your smartphone though.

I don't like to use my phone on the course. It's in my bag on silent.

I understand completely wanting to keep your phone away during the round, as this my preference when I golf as well.

Unfortunately, the Z30 is not compatible with Venu 3 for pairing as a rangefinder in the Golf Settings menu of the watch...and a compatible watch would be required to use directly with a watch during the round.

Otherwise the Z30 would have to be paired through the connected features offered through the Garmin Golf app on smartphone.
