Flag position on Epix gen 2 after mark with Z30

Hi everyone,

I recently paired my new Z30 with my Epix Gen 2 and am impressed with the laser's performance. However, I'm a bit confused about how the flag position updates on my watch.

Here are my questions:

  1. Flag Position Between Shots: If I use the laser to target the flag on my second shot (e.g., fairway), will the flag position on my watch be updated for my third shot (e.g., chip shot)? Or do I need to re-target the flag with the laser before each shot to ensure the correct position?
  2. Flag Position on the Green: Once I'm on the green, does the flag position remain updated after using the laser, or does it revert to the original position shown on the course map?

I've noticed that sometimes the flag position seems accurate, but other times it's off, especially on later shots in a hole.

Any tips or suggestions on how to consistently get the correct flag position on my watch throughout the round would be greatly appreciated.

    The arc that is lasered from the second shot to the flag will remain unless the Z30 is used to laser another target on the course. 

    The position of the actual flag icon is not affected when lasering with the Z30...as an arc is marked on the image of the hole layout, and the Z30 does not have a way of determining the actual location of the flag within the outlined shape of the green.
