Front/Back not working and not locking on pins

My z30 is connected to my phone, but I've never had it display front and back of the green and it also has never automatically locked onto a pin.

My Garmin Golf app is running in the background and it also has full location access.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a solution to this?

My friend has one and we had the same issue until he synched the Z30 to his S70. It worked for a while, but then the connection dropped. I’m not sure if the Z30 went to sleep or what. I’m very interested in the Z30 (and also have an S70) for the front/back number, but I’m waiting for some bugs to be worked out before purchasing.
