Range relay or position does not work

How does range relay work? I have the latest update for Z30 installed and it is synced with the Golf App with all my distances but I cannot see the Range relay or my position in the app? What do I need to do? The iPhone location setting is set to Always.

Thanks but I did everything above and more but the range relay still did not appear. I’ve reported the issue to Garmin support and the technicians are now investigating the issue as it does not work as…

Select the Start Round option from the opening screen in the Garmin Golf app > Download the course you are located at > Once you have completed the pre-round screens, the app will display the first hole > Wake the Approach Z30, and once you have lasered the flag, the arc will appear on the app with the distances displayed to the green.

Ensure the Approach Z30 is powered on and connected when starting the round in the golf app and you should then get the info throughout the round as you laser on the course throughout your round.

Hi, Can you confirm that you have tested that the range relay really is displayed in the Garmin golf app without being paired to a watch? Thanks for the help.

Yes, range relay sends the lasered arc when paired to either the Garmin Golf app or a compatible Garmin Golf watch. Range relay works for both the app or through the pairing to the watch.

Thanks, then it seems that there is something wrong with the range finder I bought.

Unfortunately, the issue remains with the new range finder. I’m starting to believe the Garmin Golf App, the Swedish version, has not been adapted for the Z30. The app works flawlessly with my S70 and the rangefinder with the watch. But the range finder does not work with the Z30.
