Just Noticed - S70 has not recorded Golf as an Activity since November 2025?

No settings have changed on my watch (it was set to record activity) I have switched record activity on / off several times. Rebooted watch several times, also rebooted phone. 

IOS 26.1 / iPhone 15 Pro Max

Any ideas? Thanks

    Done a VDO years ago about Garmin S2, where I did completely erase the content of the flash drive.
    The part where I describe the content of the drive might give you some insight of what/where/how to look for.

    So I erased ALL activities from the watch (found the setting on the watch to do this) 

    Did a full update via Garmin Express. All okay. 

    Played a round yesterday afternoon (after the update) and that did not sync. 

    Back to Garmin Express where it tells me it's another invalid file

    Any ideas when this is actually going to be fixed? "this quarter" is pretty vague and it's been months now. Not a good look for a $1000 golf watch to not actually be correctly recording the one specific activity it is focused on.

    It's outrageous that Garmin doesn't have a quick fix for the problems. They bombard you with advertisements for new watches, but they haven't heard of after-sales. I do not rule out that legal proceedings will be initiated to force Garmin to resolve the problem quickly. At the very least, they can better inform customers about the current situation. But Garmin apparently doesn't care.
