Virtual caddie not working after updates

My virtual caddies has stopped working after the last updates and the hole accuracy has started to become way out on several holes on a variety of course. 

I've restarted the rounds. Restarted the watch. Restarted the phone. Caddie just stays red. It comes back on every now and again but 90% of the time it just doesn't work. 

Software version 22.06

Any ideas 

  • I have the same issue and have not been able to fix it yet. 

  • I’m experiencing the same issue with the Virtual Caddy not working anymore. Does Garmin actually test their software updates before releasing them? This is already the umpteenth time the exact same problem happens. And of course, it always seems to occur on the days when you have a tournament — just like today. Having it fail right before a competition causes enormous frustration and irritation.

  • I feel exactly the same, had this problem numerous times, have tried their temporary fix - which is unpair, change clubs, repair etc.  It works for a short amount of time and then stops.  Currently it's stopped working and even their "temporary" fix doesn't work.  Without this feature it turns a very expensive watch into the exact same as cheaper versions.  Can we get an explanation as to why this keeps happening and what they are doing to stop this.  I feel the after care/service is non-existent. 

  • Same. Absolutely ridiculous how they’ve broken a key feature. Garmin we need some communication. When is this going to be fixed.

    Software update version 22.07 is now available to 100% of Approach S70 users to install. 

    Software update 22.07 contains a fix for the club list synced to your device and those experiencing the Virtual Caddie issue on the S70 should install the 22.07 update once available and please check to see if you are still experiencing the concern.

    Those having Virtual Caddie issues and issues with the club list on your watch not showing correct for what you have set on the "My Bag" menu in the Garmin Golf...please test and see if both of these concerns are now resolve for you and get to me ASAP if you continue to have those two issues after 22.07. 

    Those not experiencing any issues with your club list on the S70, but are not able to get Virtual Caddie to offer suggestions....please test after receiving the 22.07 update and reach out to me ASAP if you continue to have the caddie issue so I can report any continued issues. 

    Updates related to this issue for non-Approach S70 devices are still in the process of becoming available, and I will advise once solutions have been made available for those products.

  • The virtual caddy on my Epix pro gen 2 has not been working for a week at this moment in time. I have renamed a club as advised but still have the issue. 

  • +1 same issue that has persisted for several weeks despite following Garmin instructions 

  • Same issue, same run around from support

  • Im having the same issue. Didn't enjoyed my last round, trying to fix the watch all day!
