Approach S70 47mm (Autoshot is not working!) : / Spending a crazy amount of money to go back 20 years!

I purchased this watch about a month ago, spending around €700. We're talking about a high-end device here, so I expected significantly better performance compared to the Approach S20, which I’ve used for years without a single issue. My goal was to upgrade after many years with a reliable (though now outdated) device.

To my great surprise and frustration, I found that while the S70 does offer several additional features—such as PlayLike Distance, PinPointer, and manual targeting on the course—these are not essential. The core feature, AutoShot, simply does not work.

I had to endure a couple of rounds on the course fighting with the device, manually recording every shot like I used to do 15 years ago with the Garmin Approach S6! This is absolutely unacceptable for a product marketed as high-end and priced at €700. Equally unacceptable is the lack of meaningful support from the Customer Service team, who merely suggested a factory reset (which, of course, didn’t solve anything).

Additionally, the Tempo Training mode is incredibly unintuitive. Why ask users to set a swing speed and hope the device recognizes it? I’ve never been able to use this feature because the device fails to detect my swing at all. I expected the device to adapt to my swing and provide feedback accordingly—like any decent training tool should.

I am extremely dissatisfied and will proceed with a return ASAP.
