S70 with CT10 problem

Hello, for some time now, the watch has been telling me before starting a game that the sensors are not assigned. I've replaced the batteries and reassigned the sticks with the 14 CT10s without success.

Watch version 22.06.

Also, the watch counts double shots.

Thanks !

  • Same here. Seems to be a bug since a couple of weeks.

    What „works“ for me:

    1. Rename any Club on Garmin Golf App on your mobile (eg Driver to Driverx)

    2. Sync to Watch via Garmin connect

    3. Rename club back

    4. Sync again

    Really annoying!

    cheers

    Ralf

  • Garmin is aware of recent reports for this concern related to the sensors becoming unassigned and we apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused.

Garmin is finalizing testing for an update that should resolve this issue. Once that testing is complete we'll release the update which should be released in the near future.

  • Hi group, good news for me, I try to update the watch software by USB cable with a PC with garmin express …. After that, all my CT 10 work well like before.

  • Any update on the fix? This is really frustrating

  • I used the CT10 with the S62 without any problems. Since I have the S70 I bought CR2032 batteries over batteries because my battery proofer indicates after one or two played golf rounds, that they are empty. I announced my clubs until now for at least 4 times since I bought the watch in May 2025 always with the result, that certain clubs are not recognized. I really hope that this issue will be fixed very soon. Otherwise I will throw away the sensors.

  • Update as of August 18th, 2025:

We are hoping to soon have a fix for this made available, and your patience while the solution has been in-progress is much appreciated.

Once we have the update release announced with the software rollout process, I will update the related posts here in forums advising you of the release.

    Thank you,

    - Cody

  • I removed the nicknames and models for each club in the Garmin app and synced. Went back to the watch and the clubs were assigned. I think it has something to do with the watches default names for the clubs not matching the Garmin apps renamed clubs.
