S 70 scoring

Is anyone else having a problem since the last update with scoring? For the last few weeks when I finish a hole and go to my watch to input my score, it almost always shows 1 shot less than what I actually shot. This is because it is always showing that I 1putted instead of 2 putting like it use to before the lastest update. So on every hole I have to adjust what I shot by +1 and then adjust my putts by +1 to input what I actually shot for the hole. I would think that a high percentage of golfers 2 putt most holes so I'm not sure why the watch would now start with 1 putt as default.

  • The scoring prompt values displayed at the end of each hole is dependent on the following settings and factors as outlined below:

If SCORING YES | STAT TRACKING YES | CT10 YES = scoring prompt shows total shots recorded via CT10
If SCORING YES | STAT TRACKING YES | CT10 NO = scoring prompt shows total shots detected+2
If SCORING YES | STAT TRACKING NO = scoring prompt shows par for the hole

Check your Golf Settings on the watch and confirm which settings are showing enabled per the description above and confirm if you have handicap scoring enabled on the watch.

  • My watch settings are Scoring-yes, Stat Tracking-yes, CT 10- no,  with handicap scoring off. I have 463 rounds saved to the garmin golf app over the last few years using the 2 watches that I have owned, and this issue only started after an update the second week of June.
