S70 scoring

Is anyone else having a problem since the last update with scoring? For the last few weeks when I finish a hole and go to my watch to input my score, it almost always shows 1 shot less than what I actually shot. This is because it is always showing that I 1putted instead of 2 putting like it use to before the last update. So on every hole I have to adjust what I shot by +1 and then adjust my putts by +1 to input what I actually shot for the hole. I would think that a high percentage of golfers 2 putt most holes so I'm not sure why the watch would now start with 1 putt as default.

  • I've tried everything to get this straightened out with no luck.  I've resorted to using the watch for distances only and have gone back to a score card for recording my scores just to save time and frustration between holes. Hopefully something can be figured out soon. My buddy has a older S60 approach and is not having this issue at all.

  • The score displayed at the end of a hole will vary depending on the following factors:

    • Watch has scoring enabled + Stat Tracking enabled in Golf Settings + CT-10 sensors attached and paired to all clubs in bag > The scoring total will = the total strokes detected through the sensors.
    • If watch has Scoring enabled + Stat Tracking enable with no CT-10 sensors in use...the amount of strokes detected from Autoshot on the hole will display in the total +2 strokes (you must then confirm the score is correct or correct the score based on the amount of strokes Autoshot did not pick up because it is not designed to detect strokes that are not full-swing).
    • If scoring is enabled on the watch but stat tracking is not enabled > Score prompt at the end of the hole will display a total as par for that hole. You must then enter the actual amount you scored for that hole.

Please note that the Stat Tracking prompt at the end of the hole where putts are entered does not contribute to the score prompt total...the putts, penalties, and fairway position is purely for stats and will not affect the score.

Unless Approach CT-10 sensors are used on all clubs in your bag...scoring is not automated nor will any of our golf compatible watches automatically track your score unless sensors are in use.

  • The problem is though at the end of the hole the watch will show autoshot +1. So for example on every par 4 that I am on in 2 shots and 2 putt, the watch will show a birdie 3 with 1 putt.

  • Are you using CT-10 sensors?

When you check your Golf Settings menu on the watch, do you have handicap scoring enabled and if yes...what is the handicap scoring section showing set to?
