S70 + CT1 + scoring + 9 hole rounds???

Hello everyone - new to the S70 but have used ShotScope in the past. Have a few questions to make sure I'm properly recording shots and can later review club distances....

1. S70 and my course - when I start a round there is no option for 9 Hole vs 18 Hole. Is it just my course, or...?

2. If I only play 9 then does that round -not- count towards distance & stat tracking?

3. Is scoring every round on the watch required for the CT1 sensors to track and store, and later sync, all the shot data?

Thx!!

  • Have a follow-up question which i cannot find answered anywhere else.....

    * Auto-Shot - on the S70 paired with CT1 tags should this setting be On or Off??

    Thx!

If your course is a 18 holes then I don't remember any option to choose only front or back nine.
Start the round and end the activity after completing the nine of your choice.
If the course has 3 or more 9 holes, you will get to choose to play nine or 18 and which one.

Can't confirm but I would say it counts.

You can use the watch with or without the CT1. Yes, keep Autoshot on.
Datas are sync with Golf App at the end of the activity (you will be asked to save or not)

  • Thx for the info! Sadly, I've given up on the CT1 sensors .. too problematic on the course - including putting. The S70 native tracking, while quirky, is good enough for my current needs.
