Virtual Caddie is really bad.

Lately I have noticed that my virtual caddie on my S70 is really bad. I've been recommended using a 7 iron when my pitching wedge was fine.   Should I reset my club statistics, is it possible? Does the virtual caddie take into account tempereate and wind when making a prediction?

    I recommend taking a look at your club averages for the 7 iron to determine if the average is showing lower than you feel it should. Depending on the scenario at the course, it may have factored slope into the calculation for an uphill shot or it recommended the 7 iron based on a lower average distance from previous rounds. 

    You can edit shots to prevent outlier lower distance shots from being attributed to the 7 iron, you can exclude a scorecard from performance stats or you can ask virtual caddie to recalculate offering a different club during the round.

    How? 
    My virtual caddy suggests totally unrealistic clubs for me. For example my average 7 iron is 80 yards. It will suggest a 7 iron when I have 150 yards to go! My 150 yard club is my 3 wood.

    Garmin doesn't allow to edit avg distance of any club.  It makes Virtual Caddy is completely useless.  I can only suspect if don't they allow club distance editing because it would stop dales of CT10 Ct1. VC aim is to help high handicappers to choose right club but high handicapers don't have repeatable stokes so you can see wrong club recommendations.  Low handicappers from the other hand perfectly knows what is their stroke distance for every club  so they don need any VC.     In effect Garmin sells two useless things VC and CT10/Ct1.
