approach s70 update

I updated my approach s70 and not unable to be seen by computer, charges battery but garmin express no longer recognizing the watch

  • Clean the four metal dots in the charging contact port on the back of the watch with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. 

    Also closely inspect the connector end of the charging cable that inserts to the back of the watch and ensure none of the four pins within the oval shaped connector appear pushed in further than others, nor bent, nor missing. If any of the four pins in the connector do not appear uniform or sticking out the same length...then the cable needs replaced. 

    The watch can appear charging even if one of the pins appears out of place in the charging cable connector...but any pin out of place can result in data transfer not occurring between the connection to from the watch to the computer resulting in the watch not being recognized by the computer.
