Why does the weather info sometimes take awhile to update?

The weather icon on the face will show "--" then if I scroll up to the weather it shows "--". When I click on weather to bring up more info, The high for the day and low show up but nothing else, along with daily info, 12Hr Trend, Air Quality, ect...like its not updating in a timely manner. Phone settings and permissions are all correct.

    If you are having concerns with weather taking a while to update and display, or displaying incomplete at times...I recommend considering the following suggestions as outlined below: 

    • Ensure the Garmin Golf application is running in the background of your smartphone. If the apps is force quit or stopped from running when closing out of the app...or if another feature from your smartphone is stopping the app from running...the weather information may not update as expected and every 20 minutes as designed when receiving location services from your smartphone. 
    • Check the permissions allowed from your smartphone for the Garmin Golf app and confirm you have allowed the Garmin Golf app to always access location, and ensure "Precise Location" is enabled in your smartphone settings so the information is accurate and relevant to where you are currently located. 
    • If you notice the weather information is not displaying readily...or showing incomplete, open the Garmin Golf app on your smartphone > Select the Profile tab > My Devices > Confirm your S70 is showing connected and tap the circular arrows to manually sync your watch to see if that then results in weather updating on your watch.
