CT1 Registration Limit

I’m thinking of comparing two sets of irons and am considering purchasing another set of CT1. How many CT1 clubs can be registered on the S70 at most?

  • same question.  i have 2 sets of bags for two cities that i live in and bought 2 sets of ct1.  is it possible to setup in one garmin golf account? will garmin support multiple bags?

  • I can partially answer since I have only 1 set of CT1 but I used it over 2 bags

Obviously every CT1 from 1 box has a different RFID.
But I do not know if the ID (say from the 4I tag) is different or identical from the 4I in the second box.

If the RFID is the same, you won't be able to differentiate the 2 sets of Tag (or the 2 set of clubs).
But it will make registration simple as you would have only to register one set of CT1 in the watch and make sure you use the corresponding tag to the same club in your 2nd bag (I hope I'm clear).
You would just not be able to differentiate the club fro Bag1 or Bag2 in the statistics

    Here is my own experience:
    1- Putter:
The App doesn't support more than 1 putter.
What I do is delete the current matching from the watch (setting/Club Tracking/Approach CT1/Manage Tag/.../Putter/Remove). Then I assign the other putter CT1.

    2 - Wedges
    My wedges are different. I have a 56/50 in Bag1 and a 58/52 in Bag2.
All wedges (50/52/56/58) are listed in "my bag" and assigned with different CT1

    3 - Iron, Wood
I did not try but I think it would follow the same as the wedge = give a different name for each club (eg: Driver for Bag1 and Driver2 for Bag2). Then assign the corresponding CT1 from each box (as long as the RFID is different)

Would be nice to hear if you could succeed using 2 set of CT1 on 1 single watch.

  • Any feedback on the use of two CT1 sets for 2 bags?
