CT10 sensors not connecting after Update To 20.24

After I guess auto updates to my S70, it’s now on software version 20.24.

I have CT10 sensors on my wedges and putter.

Only replaced the batteries on these a few weeks ago and had taken them out for a full round last weekend. They were working then.

The last two rounds lately, I’ve noticed it’s had to ask me what club I hit when I swung with one of my wedges a few times instead of just knowing what club was in my hand.

This happened for the few holes where i pulled out my wedge.

Now checking at home, I’m noticing when i hold my club, it’s not connecting at all to my watch. It used to let me know what club i was holding when I sent into the sensors menu on my watch.

I also got a new wedge and put a new CT10 sensor and tried adding it. I always use to leave the other sensors and clubs in the other side of the house to pair my watch to a new sensor. This time it wouldn’t detect the new sensor. Tried replacing the battery, nope still nothing.

I decide to see if I would unassigned the current sensors and reassign them, also replacing them with a new battery just to be sure.

I’ve noticed in the menu to add sensors there’s CT10 and CT1 sensors. I choose CT10

Yeah none of them are connecting anymore. I’m hoping this is resolved in a future update and my CT10 sensors aren’t all bricked and useless.

I’ve only had this watch and sensors for just under a year

  • After a few reboots of the watch, the sensors are connecting again.

  • I’m having this issue as well with fully updated watch and my CT 10 sensors. I started a nine hole round yesterday and they immediately said that all of my clubs were unassigned.

I tried to reassign my forward and seven wood, and it only gave me the option to pair it with a three and five wood, which I do not own. From that point, I discontinued my round, and I only got a club prompt when I used the forward, which seems to mean that most of the clubs actually were assigned correctly so the message was an error which still caused a lot of anxiety and frustration in the beginning. At the end of the round, most of my shots were tracked, but I had to go back in and fix the three woods to four wood.

  • yeah i tried rebooting my watch a few times and eventually it worked.

After a few weeks or so, i weigh'd the sensors and realised they're about 7 - 8 grams. Adding that much weight to the butt end of your grip changes your swing weight/ Feel. It would feel heaps lighter.

Trying without the sensors, i quickly realised i preferred the heavier swing weight feel. been playing better since and better ball striking.

Only left the sensor on my putter.
