ct1

I cannot get new CT1 sensors to pair with my S70.

No software updates available.

Club Tracking is enabled.

Manage Tag selected.

No response when tappping or holding tag to watch.

Please Help!

  • Ensure you are tapping the sensor to the face of the watch and hold it there for a second or two and the watch will register the tag. The entire circular section must be tapped squarely against the face of the watch prior to taking the shot to register and track the distance prior to hitting the ball.

Through the watch you can manage the CT1 tags away from the course by opening Settings > Golf Settings > Club Tracking > CT-1 > Ensure the status is showing enabled on the next screen > Then tap "Manage Tags" > You can then check if the tag is assigned by pressing the tab against the screen and the watch will give you the club assignment status from there.

This thread is a duplicate to another thread on the forums post linked here: Just bought s70 and CT1 sensors dont seem to be working at all

  • i just got my watch yesterday and i cant see this option of Club Tracking, when i go to to Golf Settings then i see the option of Club Sensors -> Add Sensor
Whe i press Add Sensor then it starts searching for sensor and i have tapped the sensor on screen and waited but it doesnt detect the sensor at all.
what i am doing wrong here

  • Go to Settings/Sensors and Accessories/Cub Traking/ You shoud see Ct1 and CT10

If not, make sure you are on the atest firmware:
    Setting/System/About/Sotware version shoud be 20.24

    If not, update the firmware.

  • many thanks, as i was not aware that i need to connect the watch to wifi to get the update as it was showing everything is updated. I have connected to wifi andupdated it and now it works all fine as it was supposed to be. Many thanks and appreciate the wonderful support

  • Great you solved that one.
Unfortunately, many users report that Courses can't be updated over WiFi (firmware is OK)
So best if you can download Garmin Express on your PC and do all update via Garmin Express.
(I'm just an enthousiast, not related to Garmin support)
