Activity when practicing?

Hey golfers,

just wondering if you start any activity if you practice on the driving range or indoor. There are definitely not many useful data to collect, but the watch could at least praise the effort that I practiced. 

  • The Tempo Training app is available for you to use when training on-range or indoors.

    Tempo training can be accessed by tapping the four color circles icon below "Play Golf" in the activity app menu > The Tempo Training app will provide you a swing tempo measurement for swings as long as a regular golf ball is being hit to let you know if your back and down swing timing is ideal per your skill level set in Tempo Settings. 

    You can also swipe to the other screen available in the Tempo Training app to view your swing count, and average tempo averages as well.

  • You can create your own custom workout in Garmin Connect (Training & Planning/Workouts/Create a workout) and upload it to the watch.
    "Golf" is not available within the drop Category unfortunately, so "Custom" or "Strenght" sounds the most appropriate.
