You can view the slope information by searching the golf course in the Start Activity section of the app when prompted to select the tee box on the screen within the Garmin Golf mobile app.
The official site, scorecard, or the front office for the course you are wanting rating and slope info on can also be contacted to get the slope and rating info as well.
Well I checked the next couple of corses I plan to play at and the garmin data is a long way off other sources including information from the course itself.

I think the other sources are correct since the garmin numbers are very similar to other courses I play but I know these 2 courses are in fact a lot more dificult.
