S70 not automatically progressing to next hole after previous score entered.

Last week I played golf with my son on a course where greens and tees were close together. He was using his Fenix 7. His watch progressed to the next hole after entering his score for the previous hole.

My S70 didn’t automatically advance to the next hole after entering the score for the previous hole, I had to change hole manually.

I prefer the functionality of the Fenix 7, but can’t find anything to configure similar on the S70 or app.

Am I missing something or doesn’t the functionality exist on the S70?

My recommendation is to make sure that the course maps are up to date on your watch following the steps outlined on the Garmin Support page linked here: Installing the Latest Software and Course Updates…

My recommendation is to make sure that the course maps are up to date on your watch following the steps outlined on the Garmin Support page linked here: Installing the Latest Software and Course Updates to an Approach S70 Watch

Then check the Settings > System > About menu on the watch > Once you open the About menu, scroll to the very bottom to the section showing Current EPO Info CPE: and make sure the status is showing "Current". This is updated through the sync between your watch and the Garmin Golf app by opening the app and syncing your watch on a regular basis.

The other option we recommend, is to open Settings > Golf Settings > Satellites > Try change to All Systems to allow more access to signal from the GPS receiver on the watch.
