Lost Tags. Is it worth the cost

I have jumbo grips to help with my arthritis and change them regularly.   I have lost so many tags that I have given up with ct100 tags to track shots.  The cost of constant replacement outweighs any value.

I don’t want to glue them in.  Anyone have same problem and have a fix?  Tried silicone and reducing hole with electrical tape.  Neither solves the problem.

  • Based on the grip type you mentioned using, the threading for the CT-10 sensors may not work best with the breathe hole featured on the jumbo options you currently have installed.

There is not a direct-from-Garmin suggestion for the installation of the sensors to those grip, other than suggesting the use of another brand or design option for that size of grip.

An option that may be useful based on the concern you described, is the Find My Gear feature, which on the S70 allows for your paired sensors to be tracked for the last location on a map...if you lose one while golfing on the course. The location where the sensor last disconnected from the watch can be viewed in the Garmin Golf app...if you keep your watch paired to your smartphone throughout the round.

Our support article explaining how to use the Find My Gear feature is referenceable through the link here: Using the Find My Gear Feature on the Garmin Golf App

  • Hi. I have a Fenix 8 and CT sensors doesn't appear in the Golf app under my devices?

  • The CT-10 sensors do not appear as a registered device because they are paired as a sensor directly to the watch. Only devices that pair through the Garmin Golf app will appear in the Garmin Devices menu. Sensors that are not capable of pairing to a smartphone through the app will not appear as a registered device.

You can reference the CT-10 sensors in the Sensors & Accessories > Club Sensors section of the watch...or through menu in Activities & Apps > Golf > Golf Settings > Club Sensors section. If you have a sensor attached club pulled out of your golf bag and exposed to light, selecting the sensor within the Club Sensors menu on the watch will provide information on the sensor and the battery health status for the sensor.
